. Minors - No one under the age of 18 may receive a massage of any type without a parent or legal guardian present.

. Cell Phones - should be turned off or in vibrate move while receiving a massage.

· 
Keikis (children) Should not be brought to the studio.
    
· Cancellation Policy - Because your services are reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least 8 hours in advance if you need to cancel or re-schedule.

· Arrival & Check In - New clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time to allow sufficient time to complete client profile information. Repeat clients should arrive 5-10 minutes early to relax and prepare for your service. 

· 
Appointments cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals - to be fair to all our clients, late arrivals may not receive a full service and will be billed for the full service. Arriving early will allow you to enjoy every minute of your experience.

· We recommend that you schedule your next service prior to leaving the studio.    

· We are always open to suggestions. Please let us know how we can better serve you.

· Gratuity is not included in our pricing nor in our gift certificates. A gratuity is not required or expected, but if offered it is appreciated.


 

 

Quick Pointers for Clients Who Book In Studio Massage Sessions



Give me a little background about how you want to feel during & after your massage. Are we going to zero in on aches and pains? Maybe you're more interested in a soothing massage that relaxes the body and calms the mind? How about an invigorating one that inspires and prepares you for the big event? Perhaps some extra time on your aching feet?
 

  Let me know before the session has started if specific areas are tense or ache. This is key to getting the most out of your massage.
 

  Do your best to not eat a real big meal just before your massage. You'll enjoy massage to the abdomen much more with less in the stomach. Also, greater benefits can be expected with proper hydration before the session.
 

  When possible, take a warm shower some time before your treatment to loosen the muscles. Warmed muscles typical respond by relaxing, which in turn will result in an even more enjoyable experience for you.
   

  I have a brief medical history form for you to complete, this will aid in our session. It will tell me what can be done or what areas to avoid
 

  If you have any “pet peeves” (things that tend to bother you) that may arise during our time together, please tell me before the session starts.
 

  As You disrobe I will be in another room, undress according to your level of comfort. Massage is most effective with all garments removed. However, you may keep your under garments on or anything else as you wish.
 

  If you have a disability or any type of functional impairment, please let me know. If getting on the massage table is a problem, we will overcome that challenge together.
 

  Consider slow deep breathing during the session, which will calm the mind and focus your attention into the body. Believe me. It works.
 

  Tell me when a method, technique or movement is particularly beneficial or enjoyable. I would like to accommodate you if there is an area you think we should focus on in greater depth and time.
 

  If you become cold while on the table, please tell me right away. If a person becomes chilled, it is nearly impossible for him/her to relax.
 

  It is perfectly acceptable and encouraged to tell me immediately if and when you feel uncomfortable or compromised in any fashion. If you want the pressure adjusted for instance, talk to me about your thoughts.
   

  Quick Pointers For Clients Who Book Out Call Massage Services:

If the massage is to be at your home, consider turning off any phones or answering machines that may be a disturbance to you.
 

  If you have any pets within your home that may desire your attention or possibly try your patience, consider another area of the home for your furry friends.
 

  Indicate if anyone else will be at your home during our session or arriving while I am present.
 

  Let me know if you need me to bring a portable stereo if one is unavailable in your home. I’ll always bring a good selection of music.
 

  I’ll need about a 12-foot by 8-foot area to set up the massage table, which is enough space for me to easily maneuver around it.
 

  I’ll try to show up a few minutes early before our scheduled time to set up the table, discuss the session details, and answer any of your questions.
 

  When I arrive at your home, please be completely prepared for the massage session to start once I have set up the table and discussed the session details.
 

  If a client is late to the session, that time will be deducted from their massage and the full fee will still be due. For example. If a client is late to their home by 30 minutes (while I wait to start at the agreed upon time) or they spent 30 minutes eating dinner instead of starting the massage on time, those 30 minutes will be deducted from the massage time. If you booked the massage for an hour and a half, you will actually only receive one hour and still be responsible for the full fee.
                            

 

 

What Clients Can Expect From Me:

I provide my clients with a competent & professional session each time I treat them, addressing the client’s specific needs for that session.

I can be reached through my cell phone and its answering service and will make every effort to respond to all messages left ASAP if I am treating a client. 216-440-9019


Clients are treated with dignity and all personal boundaries are respected (personally & professionally).


I charge a fair price for my service based on my schooling and experience.


A payment in the form of cash or check is due at the time the service is completed unless other arrangements have been made prior to session.


I do not provide direct billing for insurance reimbursement for my massage in Ohio; I will give you a receipt which you may then submit to your Insurance company.


Appointments are *not* confirmed/reminded before the massage session day. I will show up on the time and day we have agreed upon when we initially spoke over the phone.


I perform services for which I am qualified (physically and emotionally) and able to do, and refer to appropriate specialists when work is not within my scope of practice and/or not in the client’s best interest.


I maintain accurate records and notes and review charts before each session.


I make every attempt to customize my treatment (if within my qualifications) to meet the client’s needs.


I stay current with the latest happenings and techniques in the field of touch – energy through seminars, workshops, and certification programs. Additionally, I am a member of several professional massage /medical associations.


I respect all clients irrespective of their race, age, nationality, sexual orientation, and economic status.


Privacy and confidentiality are maintained and are paramount in my practice.


If I need to cancel a session, I do so within 24 hours or I may offer a 50% discount on the next treatment.


My supplies and equipment are clean, safe, and of high quality.


Clients are draped with a sheet or towel at all times during the massage. Only the parts of the body being worked on are uncovered at any time.

If a client is dissatisfied with a session, and no other arrangement can be agreed upon, a discount will be offered for a future session. This has never happened.
